School Tour Request FormSelf-Guided Museum Tour
The public is always welcome to visit the Museum during open hours Tuesday - Saturday 10 am to 4pm. To schedule a self-guided group tour please call ahead to reserve your tour so that your group does not conflict with other tours. Educators are welcome to come and preview the museum for free prior to tours. All Tours are FREE for kids. Adult chaperones are $2.00.
Grade School Guided Tour
Experienced tour guides from the Assitance League of Eugene talk about the pioneers and early settlement in Lane County. These tours are a good introduction to the study of the Oregon Trail and pioneer life. The program includes an interactive presentation and a guided tour of the museum. Grade 3-5.
Pre-School and Kindergarten Tour
Introduce young children to history with this engaging tour that includes an interactive presentation. Designed for children 4-6 years of age.
These tours are available by reservation from September through mid June, Tuesday - Friday from 9:30 am to 3 pm. Tour length is approximately one hour. Size limit is 35.To place a request, please fill out our School Tour Request Form. Please choose age-appropriate tours suited to age groups listed above.

- There’s plenty of free parking in the lot east of the Museum at the corner of 13th and Jefferson. Walk through the gates to enter the Fairgrounds. Walk past the white Clerk’s Building on your right and turn right for the Museum entrance.

- The Main Exhibition Hall and Museum Store are accessible.
- Shopping & Food
- Shop at our Museum Store, open during regular hours. Members always receive a discount! There are many restaurants in nearby downtown Eugene. No food or drink is allowed in the Museum.
