School Tour Request FormSelf-guided Museum Tour
The public is always welcome to visit the Museum during our regular hours, Tuesday - Saturday 10 am to 4pm. Please call ahead if you are bringing a group to ensure that your tour will not conflict with any others. Educators are always welcome to stop by and preview the museum at no cost prior to scheduling a tour.Grade School Guided Tour
This fun, interactive tour focuses on pioneers and early settlement in Lane County. Students have the opportunity to write on blackboards with real slate pencils, try on bonnets or straw hats, stand behind the bars of the 1892 jailhouse and ring the 1898 courthouse bell. This tour is an excellent introduction to the study of the Oregon Trail. Grade 3-5.
Preschool and Kindergarten Tour
This engaging tour introduces young children to local history through an interactive presentation and hands-on activities (see grade school tour description above.) Designed for children 4-6 years of age.

Docents
Assistance League of Eugene: Our amazing Docents donate their time, enthusiasm and talent to our school tour program through Assistance League of Eugene's Oregon Heritage Committee. Other committee members work behind the scenes, sewing costumes, preparing curriculum packets and providing support wherever it is needed. - We’re easy to find next to the Lane County Fairgrounds
- If you’re heading east on 13th Avenue, you’ll see our building between Monroe and Jefferson on the right. Look for a sign that says, “Museum Entrance.” The address is 740 W. 13th Ave.
- Free Parking
- There’s plenty of free parking in Fairgrounds East Parking Lot. To get to the Museum entrance, walk through the Fairgrounds gates, past the white Clerk’s Building, and turn right. Or park in the Museum courtyard by circumnavigating the Convention Center and driving down the alley between the Center and the Auditorium.

- Shop at our Museum Store, open during regular hours. Members always receive a discount! There are many restaurants in nearby downtown Eugene. No food or drink is allowed in the Museum.
